My husband and I are in an awkward situation and I would love some assistance.? My husband helped his brother and his sister-in-law purchase a new home (before we started dating).? The home is in my husband and brother-in-law's name.? The house was purchased 4 years ago.? We have since gotten married and are looking forward to purchasing a home for us and our family.? However, due to his name being on his brother's house - this is quite difficult.? We have asked his brother and sister-in-law to refinance the house in their names so that my husband is free and clear to purchase a home with me.? We are running into difficulties in that area - excuses after excuses.? Is there any options for us?? When we ask them where things stand with the refinance - they say they are "working on it".? We?feel like our hands are tied and not sure which direction to go or what options we even have.?
